Mita Sneakers x Lacoste M85 Mid

mmmmm, sexual seduction!! These are b-b-b-boom!

"The Japanese retailer and the sneaker brand feature the M85-Mid, a cross trainer version of the Missouri 85. The M85-Mid integrates the classy design of the Missouri 85, but incorporates even more eye-catching characteristics like a hexagonal pattern, croc print and splatter all while sporting a black, white and purple color scheme. Each element ties back into the trio of colors adding texture and appeal to an already solid concept. The collaboration will be limited to 150 pairs at Mita and top-level Lacoste retailers." Keri Hilson-Source Mag Shoot

To be honest I dont really give a shit about Keri Hilson, I just saw this on Icedotcom and liked her jeans, in a kind of ho' way. I cant work out whether they are shoot jeans, or whether you could actually wear them in public???

Jeremy Scott for adidas

Homeboy Jeremy Scott has been tearin it up over at adidas man, first I caught a glimpse of the "wings" and boy do I want a pair of these, I definately would feel lighter in my step. Then came these "boosters" which are like cartoon versions of kicks, they kind of remind me of Hammertime, you know when hammer had the talking tongues? I think every kid wanted those, and so I now want these.

Sadly though, this was not to be a straight run of amazing trainer designs, coz these "artillery highs" are rough as. I like a bit of 90's on me, but damn, thats like the 90's done been sick on itself! Hellz no Jeremy, don't take the piss mate!

Bye bye Sergio Rossi....

It seems the giant footwear mogul Sergio Rossi done got had up by the credit crunch....All US stores to be closed down by 2009, Damn!

"Strategically the company has decided to focus on its wholesale, which has proven to be the correct channel for the brand development and further expansion in the U.S," the spokesperson said. "As a consequence, its current New York, Los Angeles, and Hawaii retail stores will be closed at the end of 2008 and into the first quarter of 2009." However, the shoes will still be available at department stores. "We took the decision some months ago as part of our strategy. We have implemented it over this period, and it is becoming effective during the first quarter of 2009." When we asked if this is how the company is dealing with the economy — as opposed to calling it a predetermined business plan — the answer was "no comment." Even so, the national closing of Sergio Rossi stand-alones speaks for itself.

The way I am

I never would have thought a collaboration between Eminem and Nike would work, especially not on Air Jordans, and I feel I was right!! wtf are these horrors? I mean, I love em, but I dont love him for his style knowledge......On the plus though these are in some way a good thing as they are reportedly for his foundation.....

"Proceeds from this release will go to the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which helps disadvantaged children in the Michigan area." *

The stats:

"313 pairs of this sneaker will be released on Jordan Brand’s official website—Air Jordan Flight Club. The number of pairs released, 313, is a reference to the area code of Detroit where Marshall Mathers aka Eminem grew up. Also, a black Air Jordan x Eminem t-shirt with the words, “The Way I Am” will be made available alongside the sneakers. This Air Jordan 2 features handwritten lyrics from Eminem songs on a mostly black upper with a gray toebox and red/white accents. "

These are scheduled to release on December 18, 2008 on Air Jordan Flight Club for the low retail price of $110 * Sneaker Files

Somethin' for ya head tops! Frenel Morris

Keep your head warm!

"When Manny, of Manny’s Millinery, was closing up and selling off all of his equipment, Frenel Morris bought it all and set up shop in an old warehouse in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Now with more than a thousand vintage hat blocks in his factory, Morris shapes and fits every single hat himself, from fedoras to cloches to simple caps, and sells them out of his bright and cozy Orchard Street shop, Still Life NYC. " The Cut, NY
The Cut caught up with Frenel at the store to discuss accessorizing, head-to-toe.

How did you get involved in the hat business?

Well, since I was a kid, I always wore a hat. I went to Parsons, for communications, and started working in the publishing and advertising world, though doing graphics for some fashion companies, then started experimenting with my own line, and I guess that’s when I first decided to make a cap and it came out nice.

Who have you been collaborating with?

We did a cool collaboration with the designer Jen Kao, a new and upcoming line. The collaboration allowed me to do a totally different aesthetic than Still Life and I love that.

If you could collaborate with any designer, who would it be?

Who shops at Still Life?

There’s really no set demographic for Still Life. Our customers are men and women of all ages and styles. That’s the great thing about hats: Two people with totally different aesthetics can wear the same hat, but it’ll say something completely different on each. I guess the one thing my clients have in common is that they’re all pretty confident in their styles and aren’t afraid to be individuals.

What was the first hat you ever bought?

I never used to buy hats, I just acquired them one way or another, but the first hat I ever purchased was on my birthday in Puerto Rico. I had just won $1,500 at the blackjack table the night before, so I dropped three bills on a sick Borsalino. Well spent.

What labels do you wear the most?

It's going to sound wack, but Brooks Brothers. I’m a pretty basic guy. I think it’s all about the accessories anyway.

What’s something that every woman (or man) should have in her (or his) closet?

That’s obvious: a beautiful hat (hint hint) and some really nice shoes. Then you can rock anything in between the two. Accessorize.

What are your favorite trends for this winter?

Lots of black!

What is the trend you wish would go away?

White winter coats.

Trend you wish would make a comeback?

Knickerbockers for men.

Where else do you shop in NYC?

Brooks Brothers for my clothes — I like basics. Jean Shop on West Broadway for denim. Gargyle on Orchard Street has a good collection of independent designers and a great selection of men’s shoes.

Finish this sentence: I never leave the house without ____. My keys and some quarters.

Nike Air Force II High

These are AMAZING!! It really and unrarely saddens me when I cannot purchase all of the footwear that I desire because of different reasons. This one being that if I bought these, I could lose out on probably a good extra week in South America. These or that???? Hard decisions we have to make in life hey!.....

Black/White/Pro Gold
"You may have seen this Air Force II High in a catalog scan of Nike’s 2009 collection floating around the internet earlier in the year, but as we soon approach the new year samples have been spotted on eBay. Pharrell V Atelier WM

"On his recent trip to Paris, Pharrell made a stop at Atelier WM. They made a mold of his hand in the iconic Vulcan salute position, and turned it into a candle. Limited to 200 pieces worldwide, the candle will be available as of December 8th at colette and at BBC/Ice Cream stores around the globe." * High Snobiety

I just had to put this on here, what is he on, seriously man he is such a publicity whore. I reckon he would sell his soul for a quick buck. He is fit though......... I would probably invest in a candle version of his whole body, allow just having the hand! Although if it was gonna be positioned in anyway that is probably the best!

Adidas House Party-The Kicks

To be honest, I expected more from this range. What with the hyped up bangin' video featuring Young Jeezy, Estelle, Missy and Russell Simmons, you'd a thunk they could have come up with something a bit more exciting,......like even Missy had some killers in her collabo with the originals line.......Anyways, next time you have a house party adidas, I want an invite and a spot on the design panel yeah!

Not really party feet huh?

Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) Black/Anthracite

Wowzer, what a lovely way to enter into December hey! Pinch, Punch, 2nd of the month!!

"With all the controversy surrounding Lebron James, a new colorway of his sixth Nike Zoom Lebron may give people something else to talk about."

If your wondering what that is all about basically he was on the cover of Vogue with Giselle, people think that it portrays racial stereotypes because he kinda looks like King Kong, the black aggressive male with a frail and sexual white woman.....

I don't know, I just think it is a shit cover regardless of what the undertone is.......Besides, Giselle is Brazilian......

Back to the matter in hand!

"This latest model is supported by a neutral combination of black and anthracite. Black takes up most of the space of the sneaker with areas of anthracite putting a spin on the traditional black on black design." *Sneaker Files

Release date for these badboys: unknown, but hopefully really soon because they are siiiiick!

Oooh and in case you don't know, get to!
