FWD X Rinse
So another sick line up at a sick nite- like I said before if you ain't been before get ya arse doon!
Basso & Brooke A/W 2010
Crazy patternists Basso & Brooke showed their collection yesterday, and it was pretty hectic, which we like.
Their "inspiration took them on a two-week trip down the ancient Silk Road to fabled Samarkand, where East originally met West millennia ago. It was a high-risk endeavor (they had to travel with a bodyguard), but it yielded dividends in the overload of colors, patterns, and textures they were exposed to." - style.com

Hunk of the Hump.
Hat damn! this dude is so buff! You may know Johnathan Rhys Meyers for his role in the TV series The Tudors, I personally have never watched it but I've heard its alrite. I remember his sexy lil face from the Hugo Boss adverts-
This sexy lil green eyed Irish man has been through his fair share of alcohol related troubles, going in and out of rehab and getting himself arrested on various occasions for disorderly conduct but obviously that just makes us fancy him more.

Cadbury
Dunno bout you lot but I LOVE Cadbury's adverts, especially this one-
It's all about the bit where they guy bounces along the floor. Well you can download the tune from it for freebies! Just go here to download the 8 track album that includes 6 UK songs covered by The Big Ghana Band, as well as the Zingolo song. I've tried to find out the concept behind it but there isn't much info on their website, I think they are basically trying to get us to swap Fairtrade products with our friends/family etc. Sounds like a good idea!
One love!
We love a bit of menswear up in the What a Royal Idea blog, especially when there are buff men being used as models! We love the detail in the back panel that reads 'One Love'.

Fashion Videos!
A while ago we posted a blog about 'New Power Studio' which displays the collection in a condensed 2.47 min video. It's wicked because it does what it needs to do, shows you the clothes! What with the decline of magazines being released as hard copies, and instead becoming e-zines, we wonder what will happen to editorial shoots if these videos do indeed become the new way of advertising collections...
On the bonus side, it means that designers have the creative power to release and design whatever they like because they are not being told what they can and can't do by magazine bosses.
On the bad side, it means that magazines may die off and we will be reduced to watching promotional fashion campaigns on you tube and blogs...
