When people die, people suddenly want all their shit! What's that all about????
I was just reading The Times Online and they have an article about how, now that Lee McQueen is dead, sales have increased. I mean, it's obvious that people loved the Alexander McQueen brand, but it just really f's me off how as soon as creative people die, they suddenly become more than what they were alive and people are desperate to own a piece of them.....bit freaky really all those stans!!
Sales of McQueen’s clothes and accessories are reported to have surged in the past week. Drapers, a trade publication, reported that sales of McQueen clothes soared 1,400 per cent.
