'The 67-year-old has even written to the show's producers to ask them to use her plot for the sequel, it has been reported.

A source told the Independent newspaper: "She's been obsessed with the film ever since she was in it. She has even put in calls to [the lead actress] Sarah Jessica Parker about it."

Dame Vivienne designed the wedding dress in which Jessica Parker appeared in the film and also wrote a note that was used in the marriage scene.

And when the film was released last year she publicly criticised stylist Patricia Field's clothes designs.

She said: "I thought Sex And The City was supposed to be about cutting-edge fashion and there was nothing remotely memorable or interesting about what I saw.

"I went to the premiere and left after ten minutes."

A spokesman for Dame Vivienne said that the production company not yet taken her up on the offer.

He said: "We haven't had any news about it yet. So we don't know what's happening."

The first Sex and the City film certainly did not Dame Vivienne's help. It grossed more than £300million worldwide.' Via The Telegraph

Come on.........It would be amazing if Vivienne took the reins of SATC, I mean Patricia Field did a good job, but there aint nothing wrong with fresh eyes! VW would totally sex it up, she does erotic well!!
