Cuddly toys

I'm not really one for having cuddly toys hanging about but I would def have some of these on my bed-

Created by the very talented Patricia Waller, makes me wanna learn how to knit!

Jedward have some new kicks out

Pure dread!

Food for thought..........

If your home has something other than a dirt floor, you are in the top half of the world's population.

If your home has a roof, a door, windows and more than one room, you are in the top 20%.

If you have refrigeration, you are in the top 5%.

If you have a car, a microwave, a video, a computer and your toilet has a door, then you are in the top 1%.

Fuck a skinny chick

Is it just a coincidence that Lily has severely slimmed down and then she's in the latest Channel adverts, hmmmm suspect. Think Uncle Karl might have had a lil word, he does know a few things about shedding pounds. From this-

to this-

Im getting real bored of these skinny ass models, bring back the original supermodels, now their sexy! Check out wor Cindy for example, I swear I can even see a lil bit of cellulite there!

And heres some pics of Uncle Karl's transition for those who dont know

Ski FT Mos Def - Taxi

Another banger from Creative Control TV!

This has a real nice feel/beat agwan, and as usual Mos has them syrypy vocals! It's a nice effect when they switch between studio and the proper produced song.

Ski feat. Mos Def-Taxi from Creative Control on Vimeo.

Boy are Nike goin' tough! These are proper high grade footwear and I can see them goin real nice with a smart black matte tracksuit.........daydreamin'! Hopefully I'll have enough papes when these arrive in the UK! The new fabric looks really good and breathable which is what you want.

The next icon being re-introduced as a part of Nike Sportswear’s spring/summer line will be the Nike Air Max BW Gen II, featuring the classic silhouette you know and love combined with Nike’s newest innovation, Torch, a lightweight, triple-layered textile created to manage moisture and maintain breathability, especially for a post-athletic cool down. In addition to the Nike Air Max BW, Torch will grace several other classic silhouettes this spring.

Fashion Futures

This is wicked, I just saw it posted on NovaDanndo's blog! It's a video from the 1930's about Fashion Forecasting from ITN and has a dude with a classic British voice over the top.

I love these bits:

"It's the sleeves what do it!"

"Candy for cuties!"

Missing Liberty: An Ode to Feminine Freedom

Anish Kapoor

If you aint been here already get your arses down! It is a MUST SEE EXHIBITION! It ends on Dec 11th so not long left, just thought I would remind you lot who havent been already!

The Royal Academy of Arts presents a major solo exhibition of the work of the internationally acclaimed artist Anish Kapoor, winner of the 1991 Turner Prize and one of the most influential and pioneering sculptors of his generation.

The exhibition surveys Kapoor’s career to date showcasing a number of new and previously unseen works, including a select group of Kapoor’s early pigment sculptures, beguiling mirror-polished stainless-steel sculptures and cement sculptures on display for the first time. The exhibition also includes highlights such as the monumental work Svayambh, the title of which comes from a Sanskrit word meaning ‘self-generated’. Emblematic of Kapoor’s interest in works of sculpture that actively participate in their own creation, Svayambh moves slowly through the galleries across the entire breadth of Burlington House.

This weeks man to get you over those mid-week blues is Gael-Garcia Bernal.

And boy is he fine!

In case you wondered, Mexican-born Gael started his acting career as a child and slowly worked his way up by starring in a number of short plays and soap operas. He then moved over to London where he studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Next he got a break starring in his first feature film Amores Perros in 2000, and then soon after Y Tu Mama Tambien in 2001, both of which are amazing films and if you haven't seen them (whaaa?), go get them!

He has gone on to star in a number of films, so if you wanna get your perv on (I know I have), then look out for some of these films.

I'm With Lucy
Motorcycle Diaries
The King
Babel........y mucho mas!

If I could bark like DMX, I feel like that's what I would do if I saw him!! haha
